Macrium Reflect can be used to back up entire hard disk partitions or just individual files and folders. Backup files are stored in a single compressed archive file. You can use this archive to restore exact images of the partitions on a hard disk. You can also mount images as a virtual drive in Windows Explorer to copy folders from them.

Macrium Reflect is, in my opinion, the best file backup and disk imaging utility on the market. It's easy to set up, easy to use and the technical support is first rate. I tried several other similar utilities before finally settling on Macrium Reflect. Oh and BTW, I am not an employee of their company (Paramount Software).

In our enterprise environment and on deployed servers we use the market leader Acronis, but we've recently realised that Macrium reflect as a stand alone product is far superior and absolutely worth the price. It's faster, lighter, more reliable and more flexible than Trueimage. It's just a shame it isn't well marketed.
